The museum is looking for all historical objects related to Redlands and the Inland Valley – any item which related to or had impact on the Redlands area.
The Redlands Historical Museum Association works together with the A.K. Smiley Public Library Heritage Room to accession, catalog and store donated items. Please contact Nathan Gonzales at the Heritage Room, (909) 798-7632, to make inquiry and give details on the potential donation. Don’t throw anything away until you ask us. Arrangements can be made for pick-up of items.
Donations to A.K. Smiley Public Library (the museum is under the aegis of the Library Board) are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
The City of Redlands' three professional staff members overseeing the Redlands Historical Museum are Nathan Gonzales, Heritage Room associate archivist; Larry Burgess, director of A.K. Smiley Public Library; and Don McCue, Heritage Room archivist, head of special collections and curator of the Lincoln Memorial Shrine.
